Sonder is a platform for adults to create profiles, share lawful content, and interact respectfully. These Community Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed on the platform. They form part of our Terms of Service. Violations may result in content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension, or permanent removal.
Sonder is strictly for individuals aged 18 years or older.
All users must confirm they are over 18 to create an account.
Creators who wish to publish monetised or adult content must complete identity verification through our third party verification partner (Yoti). Verification requires submission of a valid government issued ID and a live selfie check.
You must not:
Create an account if you are under 18
share content involving anyone under 18
misrepresent your age or identity
use another person's identity or documents for verification.
Accounts may be suspended or removed if verification fails or cannot be completed.
Users may also be required to verify their age to access restricted adult content areas of the platform.
You must use Sonder in a lawful and respectful manner. You must not:
Harass, threaten, or bully others
doxx or share someone's private information
impersonate another person or brand
engage in scams, fraud, or deceptive conduct
encourage self-harm, violence, or criminal activity.
Sonder allows users to share lawful content including personal content, artistic media, and creator content.
This may include:
Lifestyle, social, and personal media
artistic photography and creative expression
creator subscription pages
digital content such as photos, videos, and livestreams
adult creator content shared within age restricted areas.
Certain adult content may only be available behind a paywall and restricted to verified adult users.
Sonder is a digital content platform, not a marketplace for physical services.
Sonder permits certain consensual adult content created by verified adults, provided it complies with applicable law and platform safety standards.
Adult content must:
Only feature individuals aged 18+
be uploaded only by verified creators
be placed behind the platform's restricted adult content controls
comply with consent and content ownership rules.
Adult content must not:
Involve minors or persons who appear to be minors
depict non consensual acts or exploitation
promote illegal sexual activity
include coercion, trafficking, or exploitation.
Sonder may remove adult content that violates safety standards or applicable laws.
The following is strictly prohibited and may be reported to authorities:
Any sexual content involving minors
child sexual exploitation material
non-consensual intimate imagery
deepfake or AI sexual imagery of real people without consent
coercion, trafficking, or exploitation.
You may only share content you have the legal right to post.
You must ensure:
Everyone shown in the content is 18+
everyone shown has consented to both creation and distribution
you can provide proof of consent or identity if requested.
Creators who publish or monetise adult content may also be required to maintain records demonstrating the age and consent of individuals appearing in the content, and to provide such documentation to Sonder upon request in accordance with our Terms of Service. Being in a photo or video does not automatically grant copyright ownership.
7. AI Generated Content
AI generated imagery is allowed only if:
It is clearly labelled as AI generated
it does not depict a real identifiable person without consent
it complies with all other content rules.
Sonder is not a booking platform.
Users may describe their profession, identity, or creator work in profiles, but must not advertise or arrange in person sexual services.
You must not:
Use Sonder to arrange in person sexual services
post service menus, rates, or booking availability
use the platform to solicit illegal services.
Sonder does not facilitate, arrange, promote, or profit from in person services.
Sonder does not facilitate or monitor off platform interactions between users.
Sonder allows creators to monetise digital content through:
Tips
paid posts
subscription access
digital content purchases.
Payments on Sonder:
Are for digital content only
do not guarantee personal interaction or meetings
must not be framed as payment for physical services.
Payment processing may include card payments and cryptocurrency transactions.
For security and processing purposes, fiat payments may be converted into cryptocurrency before being credited to creator balances.
Creators receive payouts in cryptocurrency in accordance with platform payout policies.
Users are responsible for complying with local tax and financial regulations related to earnings.
Users may be discoverable through:
Username search
interest-based discovery
general location (country, state, or city) for identity purposes only.
You must not:
Use search or discovery features to promote in-person services
be searchable by service type, availability, or proximity
use location to imply physical access or meetings.
Certain users may be restricted from paid boosts or visibility features where required for legal or safety reasons.
Users may link to external platforms, including personal websites or link-in-bio tools.
You must not:
Use external links to advertise or arrange in-person sexual services
Present external links as a way to book, hire, or meet you
Use language encouraging off-platform service negotiation.
Sonder does not endorse or facilitate activity on external sites.
You must not post content that:
Promotes illegal drugs, weapons, or criminal activity
encourages violence or extremism
contains hate speech or discrimination
is defamatory or knowingly false about a real person.
You must not:
Send bulk unsolicited messages
scrape data or automate interactions
attempt to bypass safety or moderation systems
abuse reporting tools.
Only upload content you own or are authorised to use.
You must not upload:
Stolen photos or artwork
copyrighted material without permission
brand names or logos in a misleading way.
Sponsored content and promotions must:
Be truthful and not misleading
not promote illegal or prohibited services
follow applicable advertising laws.
Paid promotion may be limited or unavailable for certain account types to ensure legal compliance.
If you see content that violates these guidelines, you can report it through the platform tools. We review reports and act where reasonably necessary for safety and legal compliance. Abuse of reporting systems may lead to enforcement.
17. Enforcement
We may take action including:
Removing content
restricting features
suspending or terminating accounts
reporting illegal content to authorities or the eSafety Commissioner.
We aim to act proportionately and may allow appeals in some situations.
We may update these Guidelines to reflect changes in law, safety standards, or platform features. Continued use of Sonder means you accept the updated rules.
Sonder is built around consent, legality, and respectful self-expression. If content or behaviour risks turning Sonder into a platform for arranging real-world services, it is not allowed.
If you are unsure whether something is permitted, do not post it.
Notes
Creators of all types, including adult creators and OnlyFans creators, may use the platform.
Users may:
Identify as creators or adult content creators
Link to third-party content platforms
Express identity, personality, lifestyle, and aesthetics
The platform does not prohibit identity. The platform regulates activity and facilitation.
Creators may promote:
Digital content platforms (eg OnlyFans)
Subscription pages
Social media accounts
Creative work and personal brands
Creators may not promote:
In-person sexual services
Physical meetings
Booking or appointment-based services
Availability, rates, or service menus
This applies to:
Profiles
Posts
Bios
Comments
Direct messages
Creators may optionally display a general location for identity and discovery purposes.
Allowed:
Country

City (optional, opt-in)
Location is used solely for:
Cultural identity
Audience discovery
Community connection
Not allowed:

Proximity or distance sorting
"Near me" or radius search
Location tied to availability or time
Location must never imply physical access.
Creators may:
Appear in search results
Be discovered algorithmically
Be browsed by interests, creator type, or location (identity only)
The platform does not:
Categorise users by services
Enable service-based filtering
Optimise discovery for meetings or hire
Search exists for content discovery, not client acquisition.
Creators may pay for:
Profile visibility
Post boosts
Audience growth tools
Paid visibility:
Promotes identity or content
Does not promote services
Does not prioritise users for physical access
Paid placement is never tied to:
Meetings
Booking
Offline services
Direct conversion to real-world interactions
If the platform enables payments, money is framed strictly as:
Support
Gifts
Funding
Tips
Payments:
Are voluntary
Are not conditional
Do not guarantee access, interaction, or outcomes
Do not purchase services or time
The platform does not broker transactions between users.
The following are prohibited anywhere on the platform:
Advertising in-person sexual services
Negotiating meetings or logistics
Posting rates, prices, or availability
Using language that implies paid physical access
Redirecting users to arrange real-world services
Attempts to bypass or re-frame prohibited activity are treated as violations.
